Roberto Ponce
Experto en política de transporte y uso del suelo, ciudades inteligentes y ciencia de datos
Politólogo por el ITAM, Maestro en Políticas Públicas por la Universidad Carnegie Mellon, Estados Unidos, y Doctor en Estudios Urbanos y Planeación por el MIT, Estados Unidos
Ha desarrollado su trabajo académico sobre el aprovechamiento de los sistemas de información geográfica para manejar ciudades inteligentes, valiéndose de la ciencia de datos, el análisis urbano y económico, y la programación de plataformas tecnológicas. Ha trabajado en el uso de sistemas de información geográfica para atender contingencias y problemas del desarrollo en México, Uruguay, Singapur, y dirige en la ciudad de Guadalajara un equipo de científicos de datos dedicados al urbanismo computacional, en el Centro para el Futuro de las Ciudades del Tecnológico de Monterrey.
